Abstract:
Buffer Pool Tuning – The Next Generation, will review the method and possibilities of Bufferpool and Group Bufferpool tuning that now exist in a modern world. It will take the attendees through an explanation of what are Bufferpools and Group Bufferpools and what are the thresholds that are fixed or those that you can set. Then the BP tuning process from gathering data to actioning recommendations and then comparing results using just commands or Excel or even a state-of-the-art and Zowe front end with HTML5 graphics to enable a truly modern experience [Some assembly required!]

Abstract:
This session will be all about covering the Audit requirements of DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act). First up will be our WorkLoadExpert software that catches all the SQL traffic on your enterprise and saves it away, as you never know what you might need tomorrow! Then we will dive into the details of Audit and finally round it all out with a brand new piece of the puzzle: A complete Vulnerability test for your Db2 z/OS Enterprise!
Speaker bio: Roy Boxwell has more than 34 years of experience in MVS, OS/390, and z/OS environments – 31 of those in Db2. He specializes in installation, migration, and performance monitoring and tuning. Roy leads the SEG development team responsible for the real time database maintenance solutions. He is also an active participant, speaker and contributor on the IDUG Db2 Listserv and sends out a monthly Db2 z/OS Newsletter.
